Gas Turbine Accelerometer Kits from IMI Sensors

IMI Sensors div., PCB Piezotronics Inc., Depew, NY, offers 600B13/B14 high-temperature accelerometer kits for vibration measurement in gas turbines. The kits include a side-exit charge-mode sensor, 10 ft. integral hermetically sealed hard-line cable, and an integral ICP charge amplifier for use in multiple power generation monitoring applications, including placement on turbines, exhaust systems, and piping in environmental temperatures to 482°C. The kits are drop-in replacements for existing accelerometers with ARINC 3-point mounting bases. The Model 600B13 has 100 mV/g (10.2 mV/(m/s²) sensitivity while the Model 600B14 has 10 mV/g (1.02 mV/(m/s²)) sensitivity; frequency range is 282–240,000 cpm (4.7–4000 Hz).
