FLIR Systems Inc., North Billerica, MA, offers the Model SC2500-NIR NIR camera for science and research applications. The fully integrated camera covers the 0.9–1.7 µm spectral range and combines thermal imaging and noncontact temperature measurements with DA capabilities. Image processing electronics are embedded in the camera. Other features include high frame rates, flexible integration times, lock-in signal processing, spectral filtering, and a GigE digital interface for connection to standard PCs and laptops. The camera is factory calibrated for temperatures from 400°C–2000°C in multiple ranges. Applications include scientific research, imaging spectroscopy, astronomy, water or ice detection, laser profiling, medical procedures, solar cell inspection, and silicon wafer processing.
