Dataforth Corp., Tucson, AZ, adds the 8B45 Series frequency input modules to its SensorLex 8B family of isolated analog signal conditioners. The modules accept a zero-crossing or TTL-level sensor output signal and isolate, convert, and filter it to provide a high-level analog output. Available models measure frequency signals in 8 ranges from 500 Hz up to 100 kHz with signal amplitudes from 100 mVp-p to 350 Vp-p. A 5 V constant voltage excitation source is provided for sensors that require a stimulus. Zero-crossing and TTL input signal paths have built-in hysteresis.
