The Franklin Pierce Law Center recently opened its Intellectual Property (IP) and Transaction Clinic. Housed at The Law Center's Concord, NH, campus, the IP and Transaction Clinic offers no-charge legal advice regarding IP and commercial transactions to early-stage startups, SMEs, entrepreneurs, innovators, independent inventors, artists, agents, engineers, scientists, nonprofits, and accountants.
Clinic counselors are able to help clients in many ways, such as choosing the proper business entity for a new company; auditing the IP assets of a startup or ongoing concern; creating an IP asset licensing strategy; licensing an individual work; and interpreting an employer-employee agreement. While clients are responsible for paying all filing fees, such as U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration fees and local business registration fees, any legal advice received from the Center is at no charge to the client. For more information, contact Patricia Smith, director, 603-225-3350, [email protected].
Anadigm FPAAs are used in a wide range of applications to replace discrete components and ASICs in real-world interfaces, where the devices reduce the duration of design cycles and bring analog functions under digital control. Dynamically reconfigurable FPAAs allow on-the-fly real-time control of analog functions by the microprocessor in an embedded system, enabling new features such as autoranging and autocalibration, and also allowing functionality change to support multiple operating modes.
