Frame Grabber Extends Camera-Link-Full Networking Capabilities

Frame Grabber Extends Camera-Link-Full Networking Capabilities
Pleora Technologies

Pleora Technologies unveils an external frame grabber that it claims, for the first time, allows Camera Link Full cameras to be deployed in networked vision systems. Dubbed the iPORT CL-Ten Full, the frame grabber transforms Camera Link Full cameras into GigE Vision-compliant cameras, enabling their integration into multipoint, real-time video networks using low-cost, long-distance Ethernet cabling. It transmits uncompressed video at the maximum Camera Link Full rate of 6.12 Gb/s and sends it with low, consistent end-to-end latency over industry-standard 10 GigE fiber cable. A datasheet is available at http://www.pleora.com/system/files/sites/default/files/support/documents/iport_cl-ten_external_frame_grabber_data_sheet_0.pdf
