Fluke demonstrates powerful Visual IR Thermometer applications at AHR Expo

EVERETT, WA - Fluke Corporation will demonstrate how Visual IR Thermometers quickly troubleshoot HVAC/R systems at AHR Expo, January 21-23 at Javits Center in New York City. The Fluke® VT02 and VT04 Visual IR Thermometers speed up inspections of HVAC/R and electrical systems to identify potential issues like uneven distribution in AC condensers, overheated motors, overloaded circuit breakers, or faulty air dampers.

The Fluke VT02 and VT04 blend a digital image with a thermal heat map overlay to identify the exact location of problems. They are pocket-sized by design so they are portable enough to be used throughout the day and are fully automatic with built-in intelligence, so issues can be detected instantly with no training required. They display and save images as full digital, full infrared, or in three blended modes (25, 50, and 75 percent) along with the center-point temperature measurement. Markers pinpoint hot and cold spots indicating the hottest temperature area with a red marker and the coldest with a blue marker box.

For more advanced troubleshooting, the VT04 offers four times more powerful resolution and temperature alarms.

Images are saved to the included micro-SD card eliminating the need to write down single or multiple measurements, and can be imported into SmartView® analysis and reporting software that is free to download from the Fluke website. Findings and repairs can be professionally documented for management and customer review.
