Aalborg Instruments
The TIO from Aalborg Instruments, Orangeburg, NY, converts analog mass flowmeters and controllers into digital units via RS-232 or RS-485 interfaces, and provides 2 digital outputs, a pulse output, and 2 fully independent programmable totalizers. The device can be used as a monitor for the company's GFM and AFM flowmeters or as a controller with its GFCs and AFCs; it can also be used with any third party devices with 0–5 VDC or 4–20 mA I/O. Both totalizers allow up to 9-digit total readings, are updated every 100 ms, and can be set to activate different events. The compact TIO requires no host PC for local or programmable set-point control.
