Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. Launches and Begins Accepting Orders for Proprietary "Smart" Shoe

DRAPER, UT -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. reveals that Bend Tech LLC, will begin taking orders on the advanced sensor technology on September 1st for its smart shoe insert through the Mettis Trainer website, http://www.mettistrainer.com

Orders placed are expected to arrive beginning fourth quarter 2015.

The patented series of sensors, located in the shoe insert, wirelessly communicates with a smartphone app, providing real-time data measuring balance, form, speed and power. It can track cadence, foot landing technique and weight distribution to help identify injury-prone running styles and optimize training. The sensors cannot be damaged or degraded by dust, dirt or other particulates. Moisture and immersion in mud, water, sweat or other substances also do not affect the sensors' performance. Sizes will be sold in small, medium and large but can be further altered to custom fit each foot.

"This high quality product will transform the way people run, train and exercise. As we are looking to reform the athletic shoe industry, providing real time feedback on such an intricate level absolutely sets us apart from other wearables. The functionality of the product will allow consumers and trainers to monitor and study running patterns and to modify future running regimens for more speed, better balance and less likelihood of injury. Along with self-launching the product, we are actively building relationships with larger companies in the athletic shoe arena for further distribution," commented Tony deGreef, Managing Director of Bend Tech LLC, on the product launch.
