Debuting as the first inertial measurement unit (IMU) with a current consumption belo 1 mA, the BMI160 IMU integrates a 16 bit, three-axis low-g accelerometer and an ultra-low power three-axis gyroscope into a single package. It is tailored for high-precision, always-on six-axis and nine-axis applications in smart phones, tablets, wearable devices, remote controls, game controllers, head-mounted devices and toys. Other features include a 14-pin 2.5 mm x 3 mm x 0.8 mm3 LGA package and a typical current consumption of 950 µA in full operation mode.
