The PNC740 from Stellar Technology Inc., Amherst, NY, is a fatigue-rated pancake-style load cell with up to 0.03% BFSL accuracy over a 100 million cycle lifetime. The load cell can handle ranges from 250 lb. to 100,000 lb., has overload capacity of 200% F.S., off-axis loading sensitivity of 0.25%, tension and compression configurations, and an operating temperature range from –65°F to 250°F. Each device is barometrically compensated to minimize zero shift due to atmospheric conditions and has a standard 2 mV/V output. Compensated temperature range is 15°F–115°F. Applications include aerospace testing, automotive test stands, industrial control, and oil and gas production.
