Factory Programmed Linear Hall Sensor Hits The Highway
Allegro MicroSystems Inc.

Targeting automotive and industrial markets, the ALS31000 linear Hall-effect sensor IC features non-volatile memory to optimize device sensitivity and the quiescent voltage output (QVO: output in the absence of a magnetic field) for a given application or circuit. It provides a voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field. Quiescent voltage output is adjusted to around 0.7V and the output sensitivity is set to 2.4 mV/G. Other features include a temperature range from -40°C to +150°C, Hall element, temperature-compensating circuitry, a small-signal high-gain amplifier, clamped low-impedance output stage, and a proprietary dynamic offset cancellation technique. Available in a LH package style, price is $0.762 each/1,000.
