EyeLock, MorphoTrust Partner to Pursue Commercial Enterprise Deployments

NEW YORK -- EyeLock Inc. and MorphoTrust USA (Safran) announce a strategic partnership to offer comprehensive biometric identity solutions and services across enterprise, motor vehicle administration (MVA), airport screening and financial services markets.

As a leader in identity-related solutions, MorphoTrust serves consumers through a nationwide network of 1,100 IdentoGO Centers. These centers handle the secure capture and transmission of electronic fingerprints required for employment, certification and licensing by federal, state and local governments and some private sector entities. The partnership with EyeLock expands the offering to include iris technology, which will ultimately allow these customers to use iris for downstream authentication applications – verifying identity for access privileges, either physical or online and via mobile devices.

"With the ever-growing need for more robust security solutions, EyeLock's technology has risen to the top as the clear leader in iris authentication," said Charles Carroll, senior vice president of enrollment services at MorphoTrust. "Our partnership with EyeLock brings together two strong market leaders - enabling MorphoTrust to better serve our existing customers, and providing an even stronger value proposition for expansion into new markets as more and more enterprises seek highly secure, high throughput and seamless biometric identity solutions."

EyeLock's patented iris authentication technology has provided physical access solutions to Fortune 500, 100 and 50 corporations, and other global leaders for the last several years. EyeLock is one of the only iris authentication providers to utilize dual eye authentication to look at the more than 240 points of unique characteristics in each human iris. Combined with its unique high-speed video technology, EyeLock provides unprecedented authentication security. EyeLock launched its first consumer product, myris, to industry acclaim at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show. The product is the first iris authentication technology designed for both enterprise and mass-market use across the digital spectrum. With myris, EyeLock has distilled its proven technology platform into a palm-sized form factor to provide secure access to digital accounts.

"According to Global Marketing Insights, the market for iris biometrics is growing at an annual growth rate of 19 percent. Our existing deployments and relationships in the commercial and consumer arena provide us a good foundation. However with our technology at IdentoGO Centers by MorphoTrust, EyeLock is positioned to capture an even larger share of this growth. Having a convenient way to enroll people ultimately paves the way for iris authentication in all types of downstream transactions – for physical access, logical access and transaction verification," said Jim Demitrieus, Chief Executive Officer, EyeLock Corporation.
