EX-Approved WLAN APs from Belden

Hirschmann BAT54-Rail and BAT300-RAIL WLAN access points (APs) and clients from Belden, St. Louis, MO, have both ISA 12.12.01 Class 1, Div. 2 and ATEX IEC/EN 60079 Zone II certifications. When equipped with suitable protective cases, both can be used anywhere, even in potentially explosive environments. BAT300-Rail APs are IP40-rated, support IEEE 802.11n (300 Mbps) wireless communications, and have MIMO technology for stable wireless connections. The BAT54-Rail devices add up to 2 radio modules, operating at either 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz. Both devices support all standardized encryption procedures in accordance with IEEE 802.1x and feature integrated firewalls and IP routers to let you isolate network segments.
