EtherNet/IP piconet gateways from TURCK Inc., Minneapolis, MN, provide 4 points of digital I/O and are available with either 8 M8 picofast or 4 M12 eurofast connectors. The gateway has 2 fiber-optic connectors to add modules and increase the number of I/O points on a single node. An extension module is also available to provide an additional 8 inputs and outputs. The module's terminal strips have cage clamps for mounting inside a panel. You can connect up to 255 extension modules to each gateway. Modules can be up to 15 m apart.
