Embarking as the latest DMD addition to the DLP Discovery 4100 platform, the DLP9500UV is a digitally controlled micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) spatial light modulator (SLM). When coupled to an appropriate optical system, the DLP9500UV can be used to modulate the amplitude, direction, and/or phase of incoming light. Features include a 0.95-in. diagonal micro-mirror array, 1,920 x 1,080 array of aluminum, micrometer-sized mirrors (1080p Resolution), a 10.8-µm micro-mirror pitch, and a ±12° micro-mirror tilt angle (relative to flat state).
