St. Paul, MN -- Ergodyne announces the expansion of their Objects at Heights collection with the launch of two new wrist lanyards – the Squids® 3114 Pull-On Wrist Lanyard (Carabiner) and Squids® 3116 Pull-On Wrist Lanyard (Buckle). For tools at or under 3lbs (1.4kg), the Squids®3114/3116 Pull-On Wrist Lanyards offer an ideal solution for tethering by limiting the drop distance of the tool, reducing snag and tangle hazards, and offering an easy and quick exchange of multiple tools.
"We pride ourselves on offering a complete line of Objects at Heights solutions," said Nate Bohmbach, senior product manager of Ergodyne. "The Squids® 3114 and 3116 Wrist Lanyards are perfect tethering solutions for small tools and are incredibly efficient and safe when exchanging multiple tools."
Offering two different connecting mechanisms, the 3114 houses a stainless steel (#304) carabiner for easy tool attachment while the 3116 utilizes a modular quick connecting buckle for a swift exchange of multiple tools. With the intention of keeping the wrist lanyard on at all times, a patent-pending pocket was added to the design to tuck in the carabiner or buckle when a tool is not in use. The innovative pull-on design makes it easy to take on and off while the elastic material is soft and extremely comfortable.
"As a global leader and pioneer of all things Objects at Heights, Ergodyne is constantly innovating ways to make safety at heights more convenient," said Tom Votel, president and CEO, Ergodyne. "Adding additional wrist lanyards to our collection just makes sense – and as always, there’s more to come."
