Webdyn’s prototypes of its latest line of environmental sensors are groomed for the energy sector, and the photovoltaic market. The company is debuting its latest generation of LoRaWAN sensors. LoRaWAN is a telecommunications protocol that transmits communications at low speed by radio (868 MHz in Europe), from low electric consumption objects over long distances. In line with the protocol, Webdyn is proposing a unique line of sensors that meets the needs of new Smart City or Smart Building related services.
The company unveils eight LoRaWAN sensors: ambient light level, electric meter remote information (MRI), analogue input, solar radiation, air quality, CO2, temperature, pressure, humidity and pulses. All are built into a compact box that includes a battery and a measurement chamber or an electric terminal block interface to connect to an external peripheral.
Additionally, Webdyn’s LoRaWAN gateway makes it possible to set up simple private networks that are compatible with all market LoRaWAN sensors. Housed in a compact metal box, the LoRaWAN gateway has a 3G or 4G WAN port and an Ethernet LAN/WAN port. The complete configuration of the LorRaWAN gateway, including the remote LoRaWAN server address is carried out from an embedded web server. For more details, visit Webdyn.
