The 805QS from SOR Inc., Lenexa, KS, is a loop-powered pressure switch that offers supplemental continuous output (either 4–20 mA or 1–5 VDC) and is suited for use in hazardous locations and hostile environments where space is limited. The compact device has rugged construction, field-adjustable switch set-points and supplemental continuous output zero and span points using an optional calibration kit. The device has three types of switch function, all of which fail to the open state should the unit lose power or stop working.
