The SPECTROTILT 4–20 mA inclinometer from Spectron Glass and Electronics, Hauppauge, NY, has a ±60° angular sensing range, a –40°C to 70°C operating temperature range, and provides a 4–20 mA output compatible with most PLCs. Features include a rugged aluminum housing, a hermetically sealed sensing element, potted electronics, and EMI/ESD protection. The viscosity of the fluid inside the sensing element can be altered to decrease susceptibility in high-vibration environments.
