Flow Technology Inc., Tempe, AZ, offers the EL (extended linearity) 500 Series electromagnetic flowmeters that are available in line sizes from 1/8 to 3/4 in. Flowmeters create an electromagnetic field profile to ensure accuracy in turbulent, transitional, and laminar flow regimes. Measurement range is up to 1000:1 without the aid of linearization software. Features include bidirectional flow capability, no moving parts, no pressure drop, –4°F to 320°F operating temperature range, and 316 SS flow tube. A base transmitter with optional panel-mounted display is available as is a multiple-output converter with integral display.
