Electrochemical Sensor Chip Evolves From ASICs

Elemental Sensor has developed an IoT-enabled electrochemical sensor chip. The unique device is the product of modifying custom ASIC silicon chips to detect chemicals in liquids. According to the company, the chip is unique in that it can sense up to 15 chemicals and be customized for unique needs. Tiny and robust, the sensor is immersible in fluids and automatically warns when it needs replacing. It autonomously tracks the level of a target substance and results are viewable on a mobile phone and other devices. For more info, visit http://elementalsemi.com/wp/?page_id=17 E
