Teaming a rugged design with portability, the ESA609 electrical-safety analyzer is suitable for use in biomedical applications. Addressing global electrical safety standards, the instrument tests to ANSI/AAMI ES1, NFPA-99, and parts of IEC62353 and IEC60601-1. It integrates all functions necessary to test medical devices when patient lead testing is not required. These include line voltage, ground wire resistance, equipment current, leakage current, and point-to-point tests. Additionally, the ESA609 requires no training to use.
