The LabVIEW Electrical Power Suite from National Instruments (NI) Corp., Austin, TX, lets you combine standard IEC, EN, and IEEE algorithms with LabVIEW system design software and the company's reconfigurable I/O hardware to develop custom, flexible power monitoring applications. The suite features industry-standard power analysis for graphical system design; full streaming access to raw, time-based waveform data; and ready-to-run example programs. The software, used with the company's CompactRIO system and its >50 signal and sensor modules, lets you develop custom three-phase power monitoring, metering, or quality analysis applications and integrate power measurements with temperature, pressure, sound, vibration, and control I/O for a complete monitoring system.
