APEX Series eddy current transducers from
MTI Instruments Inc., Albany, NY, are designed for advanced measurement in demanding process control and condition-based monitoring applications. M100 displacement and proximity sensors have linear ranges from 1–52 mm at a 500 Hz frequency response. M200 displacement, vibration, and proximity sensors have a 10 kHz frequency response and standard linear measurement ranges from 0.25–6.10 mm with 0.5 µm resolutions. M900 displacement and proximity sensors incorporate all electronics in the probe head and monitor radial and axial vibration and position, as well as rotational speed. Measurement ranges are from 1–50 mm at 5 kHz.
