Exact Flow
The DX-DL from Exact Flow, Scottsdale, AZ, is a dual-rotor turbine flowmeter that offers a repeatable flow range up to 500:1 and a universal viscosity curve (UVC) turndown range of 60:1. Accuracy is 0.25% of reading with extended-range performance. As fluid passes through the meter, the dual rotors become hydraulically coupled due to their counter-rotation and they overcome the inertia and drag that affect single-rotor turbine flowmeters. The flowmeter's pickoff system is impervious to vibration and minimizes space. Both integral and remote electronics are available to process the signal output, including the ExactComp IFC15 flow computer.
