The PCIe-CPL64 from ADLINK Technology Inc., San Jose, CA, supports the power over Camera Link (PoCL) standard and provides 2 base configuration channels with data transfer rates up to 4.0 Gbps and pixel clock rates up to 85 MHz. Designed for cost-sensitive computer vision applications, the frame grabber can also support non-PoCL cameras automatically through its SafePower function. Features include two TTL/LVDS trigger inputs to synchronize image acquisition with an external encoder or position sensor, 2 programmable trigger outputs, support for 32- and 64-bit Windows XP and Vista OS, and the CamCreator setup, configuration, test, and debugging utility.
