The DT10, DT20, DMT10-2, and DML40-2 distance measurement sensors from SICK Inc., Minneapolis, MN, are for bin level control, loop control, package measurement, proximity sensing, log and lumber measurement, shipping container profiling, and level measurement in fog or steam environments. The DT10 proximity-style sensor has a preset output from 50–500 mm and a 4–20 mA output and single teachable discrete output. The DT20 has a 90–1000 mm range, an IP66/67-rated metal housing, prescaled 4–20 mA analog output, and a discrete output. The DMT10-2 and DML40-2 have a longer measurement range, faster response time, enclosure window mode suppression, and an enhanced temperature range.
