The device includes the logger, the optical oxygen sensing sensor cap, a protective guard, and a calibration boot with sponge. The sensor measures dissolved oxygen from 0–30 mg/L with a calibrated range of 0–20 mg/L over 0°C–35°C and temperature from –5°C to 40°C. The logger has memory for 21,700 sets of oxygen and temperature measurements, has a 100 m depth rating, and a battery life of 3 yr. at 5 minute logging intervals.
