Providing an accurate and safe alternative to mercury-in-glass thermometers, the Digi-Tel electronic thermometers are optimized for use in food processing, dairy engineering, and process industry environments. They meet FDA Rule 21 CFR 113.40 requirements for temperature indicators used in retorts, and the requirements of the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance for dairy applications. The all stainless steel models are built into 5" diameter cases with a 1-in. tall digital display and a temperature range of -70°F to +750°F (or -60°C to +400°C). A unit with a 4.5" diameter polypropylene wall mounted housing and remote sensor is also available.
