Digital Temperature Transmitter from APSYS

The AP-T312 from Advanced Precision Systems (APSYS) Inc., Cleveland, OH, is a 2-channel digital temperature transmitter available in measurement ranges of either 20°C–50°C for biomedical and life science research or –5°C to 80°C for general engineering and environmental applications. The device connects to an RS-232 or USB (via adapter) port of a PC, drawing its power from the port. The full measurement range is covered in 10 bits (1024 steps); measurement resolution is better than 0.2°C for the biomedical range. Sensing elements are watertight. Combining the transmitter with WinAps-T300 software creates a PC-based temperature logger.
