Microchip Technology Inc., Chandler, AZ, offers its 16-bit dsPIC digital signal controllers (DSCs) for multiloop switch-mode power supplies, AC/DC converters, isolated DC/DC power-converters, embedded power-supply controllers, power inverters, UPSs, and other power-conversion applications. The dsPIC30F1010, dsPIC30F2020/2023 have a 1 ns resolution PWM and a 2 Msps, 10-bit ADC. The dsPIC30F1010 devices have 6 KB of Flash and 2 PWM generators and the dsPIC30F202X have 12 KB of Flash and 4 PWM generators. All devices operate from 3.0–5.5 V.
