Digital Contact Sensors Squeeze Into Tight Quarters

Digital Contact Sensors Squeeze Into Tight Quarters
Keyence Corp. of America

For shrinking applications, the GT2 Series digital contact sensor lineup now includes two ultra-compact contact sensors with 1-mm and 5-mm stroke lengths. GT2 Series contact sensors can last over 200 million cycles without having to replace the sensor, resulting in decreased maintenance costs. A seamless structure allows for a dust-proof, watertight and oil-resistant contact sensor. These sensors can be used in the harshest of environments and integrated into existing systems with a variety of available communication protocols. These include EtherNet/IP, PROFINET/PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, CC-Link, RS-232C, BCD, TCP/IP, EtherCAT, and analog outputs. More info is available at http://www.keyence.com/GT2PR
