The Model P58 from Validyne Engineering, Northridge, CA, is a digital differential pressure transmitter for industrial pressure measurement applications and features communication and power via a USB interface. The sensing element can be changed to allow calibration to a new F.S. pressure. Output is a ±5 VDC output. Accuracy is 0.25% F.S. with 0.7% max. temperature error. F.S. ranges are from 3.5 in. H2O through 3200 psi. The USB interface also provides remote zero and span adjustment and digital pressure readings in engineering units. Drivers and software for the USB interface are included. The sensor can make low-pressure measurements for applications that require fast dynamic response, high resistance to vibration, and signal stability through temperature change.
