The DVT1000 isolated voltage transducer from Magnelab Inc., Longmont, CO, has a measurement range of up to 1000 VDC and is intended for high-voltage DC monitoring in process control and alternative energy applications. The device converts a DC voltage input into either a 4–20 mA or 0–5 VDC output proportional to the input and provides effective isolation to 4.5 kV, UL and CSA safety ratings, and an operating temperature range of –30°C to 70°C.
