Configurable as any combination of 12-bit ADC and 12-Bit DAC, the 12-bit, eight-channel AD5592R includes a 400-Ksample/s ADC, 6-μs settling time DAC, digital inputs/outputs, and a reference on a single chip. The new device can be user-configured in any combination of up to eight devices. Measuring 2 mm x 2 mm in a WLCSP package, other features include safe power-up functionality that prevents conflict with external circuitry if set up incorrectly, a 2.5V, 25 ppm/°C internal reference, and a -40°C to +105° operating temperature range.
