TranAX 3.4 from Elsys Instruments, Monroe, NY, is an updated version of the company's client-server-based transient recorder application and signal analysis software for use with TraNET transient recorders and TPCX DA modules. You can now import video recordings and synchronously display them with actual measurement signals; display frequency spectra as standard, octave, or 1/3 octave and weight audio signals in dB-A or dB-C; and store and recall application-specific computing algorithms. Other features include a redesigned formula editor and new functions geared toward individual application needs, such as those for ballistics measurement, crash testing, structural health and seismic research and field-testing, variable frequency drive diagnosis, and rail and automotive control and monitoring.
