The 6000 Series Ethernet-based DA modules from IOtech, Cleveland, OH, are for voltage (Model 6220) or strain (Model 6224) measurement and provide 12 analog inputs, eight digital I/O, and 16- or 24-bit resolution, respectively. Modules are expandable using other 6000 Series devices and feature software for setup, acquisition, display, and analysis. The Model 6220 provides 100 kHz sampling/channel, ±10 V input range, simultaneous sampling, and BNC connectors. The Model 6224 offers a 50 kHz/channel sample rate with 12 direct strain gauge inputs and user-programmable excitation.
