The ITL 4000-S from LEM S.A., Geneva, Switzerland and Milwaukee, WI, is a current transducer for noninvasive measurement of currents up to 4000 Arms in conductors up to 268 mm dia. The transducer allows isolated measurement of AC, DC, and pulsed currents up to 3 times the nominal value for peak measurement at frequencies up to 50 kHz (±1 dB). The sensor uses closed-loop fluxgate technology and has ±0.1% IPN accuracy and an operating temperature range of –40°C to 70°C. It can also measure small DC currents in the presence of large AC components.
