ELKHART, IN /BUSINESS WIRE/ -- CTS Corp. announced that CTS Automotive Products was awarded a production program for its new noncontacting rotary position sensor to be used on exhaust gas recirculation valve systems for diesel engines in North American commercial heavy-duty truck markets.
The sensors incorporate new technology in a leak-proof design, with features designed specifically for high-temperature and extremely harsh environment applications. The sensors are being built in one of CTS' state-of-the-art facilities in North America. Total sales from these awards are expected to reach approximately $8 million over the initial five years of the program, with production beginning this year.
