The AMA and DMA series MEMS accelerometers are described as low-cost sensors delivering high performance and accuracy for inertial applications. Exploiting chip-based technology, they consist of a suspended mass between two capacitive plates that covers a range of movement from ±1g to ±40g. The AMA series provides 0 to 5 Vdc and 4 mA to 20mA analog outputs and the DMA offers RS-232 and RS-485 digital outputs. Both series are available in single, dual, and tri-axis versions.
