Connectors Eliminate Complicated Inspection Processes

Connectors Eliminate Complicated Inspection Processes
TE Connectivity

The GRACE INERTIA connector series offers the design-in variety necessary for always-on connectivity and eliminate the need for complicated inspection processes by utilizing a lock-on mechanism that does not pass an electric current if half-mated. This feature helps to eliminate human error during assembly. Applications range from home appliances and air conditioners to automobiles. Connector features include maximum current ratings from 4A to 20A, voltage ratings of 250, 300, and 600 Vac/dc, 3.3-mm to 12.4-mm centerline pitches, wire-to-board and wire-to-wire configurations, various color and physical keying options, and double lock plate (TPA device) options.

A virtual sample kit that shows a few selections from the wide variety of GRACE INERTIA connector options is available for download at http://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController?Action=srchrtrv&DocNm=108-106094&DocType=SS&DocLang=EN
