The Rosemount Analytical Model 410VP from Emerson Process Management, Irvine, CA, is a 4-electrode conductivity sensor for the life sciences and food and beverage industries. Features include a 1 µS/cm to 1400 mS/cm dynamic range and suitability for CIP monitoring; a Pt1000 RTD for temperature compensation; 1 1/2 in. and 2 in. Tri-Clamp, Varivent N, and G-1 1/4 sanitary fittings; a quick-disconnect Variopol fitting; and compatibility with the company's Model 1056 Intelligent analyzer. Rather than using two sensors, one to measure the high-conductivity cleaning solution and the other to measure the low-conductivity rinse water, the 410VP provides a complete conductivity measurement.
