Anomet Products Inc., Shrewsbury, MA, provides metal clad wires for formability, ductility, solderability, and design flexibility for use in electronic connectors and medical devices. The wire is metallurgically bonded to a core material such as copper, Kovar®, nickel-iron, molybdenum, SS, tantalum, and titanium. These composite wires are more formable and ductile than plated wire and allows you to combine properties such as strength and conductivity. The wire typically incorporates 2% or more cladding thickness, uniform density with corrosion resistance, and comes in 0.002 in. to 0.125 in. O.D. sizes.
