The MCRT 48200V Series noncontact digital torquemeters from S. Himmelstein and Co., Hoffman Estates, IL, have F.S. ranges from 25–10,000 lbf-in. Output is ±10 V or ±5 V and accuracy is either 0.2% or 0.15%, depending on the chosen accuracy grade. Calibration values, scaling, and units of measure are stored in nonvolatile memory, internal signal processing is accurate to 14 bits, and noise tolerance is inherent. Other features include high overload capacity, high overrange, NIST-traceable calibration, selectable signal filters, and PC interface software.
