TX2 Series position sensors from Novotechnik U.S. Inc., Southborough, MA, have stroke lengths to 300 mm and offer linearity to 0.05% with resolution better than 0.01 mm. Sealed to IP67, the sensors have an 18 mm dia. housing and pivot heads to provide up to ±12.5° of free movement. The sensors are available from stock with 8 stroke lengths from 25–300 mm and have an operating life of more than 50 million movements.
