Designed for use at the end of the HPLC flow system, the FlowCal 5000 from Tovatech LLC, South Orange, NJ, is a liquid flowmeter accurate to ±1% of calibrated flow rates that supports FDA compliance for IQ, OQ, and PQ validations on any HPLC pump. The 12 oz., lightweight device measures flows from 0.05–25 mlpm independent of liquid type up to a 10 cP viscosity. Rates are rounded to 4 digits displayed on a backlit LCD. The complete data are rounded to a full 6-digit reading and output via the RS-232 interface. The flowmeter ships with a UKAS-traceable calibration certificate at 1.0 mlpm or you can specify standard 3-point calibrations of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 mlpm.
