The TransiTempII from MadgeTech Inc., Warner, NH, is a splashproof, reusable temperature data logger for monitoring and recording the temperature of all types of perishable or nonperishable products, including food items and medical/pharmaceutical goods, in storage and in transit. The device measures temperature from –40°C to 80°C with 0.1°C resolution and ±0.5°C accuracy and stores 32,767 readings. You can program the device to record immediately or delay the start for up to 30 days and you can use a magnetic wand to mark data points. Battery life is 1 yr. typ. A docking station lets you connect the logger to a PC for download.
