Clamp-On Meter Monitors Industrial Water Flow

Badger Meter’s Dynasonics TFX-500w ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter is designed for non-invasive, ultrasonic transit time flow measurement in building automation, heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC), water and wastewater treatment, and water distribution. Ultrasonic waves transmit upstream and downstream through the pipe wall and liquid flowing in the pipe. By measuring the difference in the travel time and knowing the pipe size, the meter accurately determines the rate, total and velocity of water flow.

 

The meter features a large, easy-to-read display and provides Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP connectivity. It integrates with the Badger Meter BEACON and AquaCUE Advanced Metering Analytics (AMA) cloud-based software suites. Programming is through the front panel or USB cable using SoloCUE configuration software.
