The Series TFXL from Dynasonics, Racine, WI, is an ultrasonic transit-time flowmeter that clamps onto the outside of the pipe. Housed in an enclosure suitable for outdoor mounting, the flowmeter has a local display featuring rate and total flow and provides 2 flow rate outputs, 4–20 mA and a simulated turbine meter or TTL-pulse frequency. Integral mount systems can accommodate pipes 2 in. and smaller. UltraLink software lets you configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot the flowmeter using a notebook PC.
