Coilcraft claims its latest 0805HP Series ceramic wire-wound chip inductors offer the industry’s highest Q factors in 0805-size packages at frequencies up to 3 GHz. The series is available with 23 inductance values ranging from 2.6 nH to 820 nH with a 2% tolerance available for most values. The inductors feature a wire-wound construction for the highest possible self resonance up to 9.5 GHz. They also offer significantly lower DCR (as low as 15 mΩ) than the previous generation. Additionally, the components are RoHS compliant and feature silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit terminations and specify a maximum reflow temperature of +260°C.
